What's new?

  • Update to ARC Rules engine v5.7.0
  • Experimental support for testing the ShadowDOM, a web technology that allows developers to create encapsulated components that are not affected by the global styles and scripts of the web page. The ARC Toolkit can now detect and report accessibility issues within the ShadowDOM elements. Note that this is an experimental feature and must be enabled via ARC Toolkit’s Settings.

Bug fixes

  • Improved support for displaying best practices, which are recommendations that go beyond the minimum requirements of the accessibility standards and help enhance the user experience for people with disabilities.
  • Correctly highlight elements that appear within an iframe.
